Immanuel House

The Immanuel House “Intensive” program is a 90-day inpatient men’s home for addiction recovery and freedom in Christ. We offer the solution through 12-step recovery and identity in Christ.

Our teams give individual and group counseling, meeting 3 times a day, in addition to attending off campus meetings. Our ministry assists individuals with a desire for change that offers aftercare in the form of transitional homes (sober living), a strong recovery community (fellowship), and true discipleship.

Gamechangers

Gamechangers Foundation has partnered with 143 Ministries men’s program (Immanuel House) Gamechangers has 150 acres of beautiful land located close to Lake Thurmond and their vision was to provide a place for men to rehabilitate and have a spiritual experience.

Immanuel House has had an established program with outstanding success and as growing demands came, Gamechangers asked to help provide this. With one partner having land and the facilities and the other partner having the program and staff to run an efficient rehabilitation center, they decided to partner together to ensure a greater effort to reach men struggling with addiction, to have a place to heal, and the curriculum to ensure lifelong recovery!

Immanuel House Transitional Living

Separately, we also offer a discipleship home for men transitioning from a lifestyle of drug addiction into a life of freedom in Christ. Residents of this program will live in a structured environment and will have access to mentorship from other men who are strong in their recovery and walk with Christ.

Requirements for admittance into this program are that clients either come through our 90-day program or that they complete another inpatient program and come to us within 7 days of completion of the alternate program.

Prior to admittance, a candidate must undergo a strict interview process before their application will be accepted. After admittance, each resident is required to find a sponsor within the first two weeks, and then attend a minimum of three 12-Step meetings and one church service per week. Additionally, residents will be required to do the following:

  • Demonstrate prosocial behavior, including living in accountability with others and being willing to follow suggestions.
  • Know and obey all house rules, including curfew.
  • Work a respectable job in order to pay all bills.
  • Provide their own food and transportation, although we may be able to help from time to time.
