About the House
The Immanuel House “Intensive” program is a 90-day inpatient men's home for addiction recovery and freedom in Christ. We offer the solution through 12-step recovery and identity in Christ.
Our teams give individual and group counseling that meet 3 times a day and also includes attending outside meetings. Our ministry assists individuals with a desire for change that offers aftercare in the form of transitional homes (sober living), a strong recovery community (fellowship), and offers true discipleship.
Our home is all inclusive, providing meals, transportation, strong leadership, and other essentials needed for each individual.
We are NOT a detox or medical facility. However, on a case by case basis, we may provide transportation to such.
Immanuel House Transitional Living
Separately, we also offer a discipleship home for men transitioning from a lifestyle of drug addiction into a life of freedom in Christ. Residents of this program will live in a structured environment, and will have access to mentorship from other men who are strong in their recovery and walk with Christ.
Requirements for admittance into this program are that clients either come through our 90-day program, or that they complete another inpatient program and come to us within 7 days of completion of that program.
Prior to admittance, a candidate must undergo a strict interview process before their application will be accepted. After admittance, each resident is required to find a sponsor within the first two weeks, and then attend a minimum of three 12-Step meetings and one church service per week. Additionally, residents will be required to do the following:
- Demonstrate prosocial behavior, including living in accountability with others and being willing to follow suggestions.
- Know and obey all house rules, including curfew.
- Work a respectable job in order to pay all bills.
- Provide their own food and transportation, although we may be able to help from time to time.
The Immanuel House is founded upon principles before personalities. If you would like additional information about the Immanuel House, please contact us at 1-800-560-7143 ext. 2!
